More wins for Men’s, Women’s Basketball
After a down-to-the-wire victory by the Emerson Women’s Basketball team against the U.S. Coast Guard Academy (48–46) on February 8, the Men’s Basketball team also won against Clark (89–59).
It’s been a particularly stellar few days for the men’s team after it upset a top-ranked team for the second time this season on February 6, when the Lions beat the Worcester Polytechnic Institute Engineers 71–67.
Worcester was the third-ranked team in the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC). In December, Emerson beat #1-ranked Amherst College.
