British Embassy official visits Emerson

James Kariuki, head of politics, economics and communications at the British Embassy in Washington, D.C., visited Emerson on November 18 at the Bordy Theater to speak with students about the best that Britain has to offer in terms of tourism, study, and doing business. Kariuki’s visit is part of the GREAT campaign announced recently by UK Prime Minister David Cameron to support marketing and public diplomacy efforts. His visit was sponsored by the Department of Communication Studies.
