2013 Alumni Association Auction begins

The 8th annual Emerson College Alumni Association Scholarship Auction launched November 6.

Auction participants have the opportunity to bid on 26 items, including impossible-to-find tickets, deals on trips and restaurants, and fantastic once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to enjoy themselves while providing financial aid to Emerson students.

The auction is the largest annual fundraiser for the Alumni Association Scholarship Fund.

Auction items include a lunch in Los Angeles with Curb Your Enthusiasm star Larry David, P’16; tickets to The Colbert Report and The Rachael Ray Show; getaways to Cape Cod, Scottsdale, and Los Angeles; Green Monster tickets to a Red Sox home game; tickets for a performance by John Mayer; and much more.

This year, the College hopes to raise more than $25,000 and expand the endowment so that annual scholarships can continue to be awarded to both graduate and undergraduate students. The success of previous Alumni Auctions has grown the scholarship from one award of $2,500 to six awards of $4,000 each.

Visit the Bidding For Good fundraising website to bid on each of the 26 items available. For questions, contact Mary Ann Cicala ’99 MA ’09, director of alumni relations, at mary_ann_cicala@emerson.edu.
