Theodore “Regge” Life, distinguished director-in-residence in the Department of Visual and Media Arts, has a documentary film that is being screened at the Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival in Japan October 10-17.
Live Your Dream: The Taylor Anderson Story (2012) is about 24-year-old Taylor Anderson of Virginia who was the first American casualty of the 2011 Japan earthquake and tsunami.
“Yamagata is one of the top international documentary film festivals in the world,” Life said. “I am proud to be a part of a program of films that will examine, remember, and memorialize the tragic events of March 11, 2001. It’s an honor they picked Live Your Dream.”
