West named to distinguished forensics alumni

Professor Richard West will be named a distinguished forensics alumnus by the Illinois State University Forensics Advisory Board.

Professor Richard West of the Communication Studies Department has been selected by the Illinois State University Forensics Advisory Board to be an inductee to the inaugural Forensics Distinguished Alumni class, and is scheduled receive an award April 13.

The newly established alumni class is designed to recognize former board participants who have excelled in education, business, law, and entertainment—all while utilizing the skills they learned through participation in forensics and distinguishing themselves in their respective fields.
