Emerson College welcomes Putsata Reang, author of the powerful memoir, Ma and Me, for an evening of conversation and storytelling. Reang’s story is a poignant reminder of the strength of the human spirit, and her writing has been praised for its honesty and vulnerability.
The event is split into two parts, with the first half being a Q&A session between Reang and members of the Emerson community, and the second half being a public reading.
During the Q&A session at 172 Tremont (4:00-5:00 pm), Reang will answer questions and provide an exclusive opportunity to delve deeper into the themes explored in Ma and Me.
Following the Q&A, the event opens up to the public for a reading by Reang in the Bordy Theater from 6:00-8:00 pm. She will read excerpts from Ma and Me.
Register to attend on Eventbrite no later than 12:00 am Monday, April 10.
