Embrace Our HeArts Festival: Book Truck & Open Mic

The School of the Arts Dean’s Fellows for Racial Equity and Leadership Development invite the Emerson community to join them in celebrating and uplifting the many diverse voices at Emerson in a three-day art festival. The festival will showcase art across the three disciplines of SOA: Visual and Media Arts, Performing Arts, and Writing, Literature & Publishing . 

The final evening of the festival features a book sale and open mic. In partnership with Beacon Hill Books & Cafe, a “book truck” will  have a selection of books by authors of color for sale. The open mic will feature stories, poems, and more by students of color. Stay after the event for a networking reception and meet fellow artists.
