This Wednesday, October 2nd, 5 – 7 PM, 172 Tremont Street, Room 202, Emerson Poetry Project will be hosting a workshop led by Kapil Kachru, author of the chapbook Negilible Intertia and the six-part poem “Radio Kashmira.” The focus of this workshop will be long form poetry. No prior experience or org membership is necessary to attend.
This workshops will focus on themes of: family; identity; homeland; loss; nostalgia; political, social and spiritual upheaval.
Participants in this workshop are invited to participate in open mic the following Monday, October 7th, from 8 – 9 PM….details forthcoming!

Kapil Kachru (he/him):Writer. Creative Director. Air sitar prodigy. Kapil is a founding member of the Trident Poetry Collective and a regular at Open Mic since fall 2021. His poems and stories have appeared in magazines, journals, chapbooks and an anthology in India, Japan, The Netherlands, UK and the US. Including Inverse Journal, La Piccioletta Barca, Noon: journal of the short poem, The Bangalore Review and The Bombay Literary Magazine. Negligible Inertia, his debut collection of poems, was published by Writers Workshop.

The Emerson Poetry Project (E.P.P.) is dedicated to building a community of writers who want to share their original work, receive helpful feedback, and improve their craft through the medium of performance poetry.
