Join multimedia journalist Xinyan (Eliza) Fu (Emerson ’22) for a screening of her multimedia project featuring artists from the Boston Chinatown community and enjoy food from local Chinatown eateries.
The project will be composed of different storytelling formats including writing, photographs, podcast, and video. In this series, Xinyan compiles interviews, research, data, and historical documentation to produce a cohesive story about the Asian American identity in the context of Boston’s famed Chinatown. She also digs into Chinatown’s ever-changing landscape and the cultural connotations of the same.
