Changing the Narrative : Lessons Learned from the Transforming Narratives of Gun Violence Initiative

In collaboration with Engage (a new student organization within the Engagement Lab), we will host our first workshop of the semester! We will take a look at the  Transforming Narratives on Gun Violence initiative and the current representation of gun violence in the media. In doing so, we will learn about community-engaged and trauma-informed reporting, as well as how to work toward solutions-based journalism within our own Beacon newsroom.
