Book Talk with Sports Journalist Melissa Ludtke

September 25 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm EDT

Please join us for a discussion with author Melissa Ludtke, who broke barriers in sports after suing Major League Baseball in the 1970’s to allow female journalists equal access to locker rooms for player interviews.

Sponsored by the School of Communication and co-moderated by Journalism affiliated faculty Diane Mermigas and Sports Communication Assistant Professor Lauren Anderson, the event will take place on September 25th from 5:30-6:30pm in the Paramount’s Bright Family Screening Room, 559 Washington Street in Boston.

Following the discussion, attendees will have an opportunity to meet Melissa and purchase a signed copy of her book if desired. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
