Language Cafe: Welcome to Boston

Join us for our first Language Cafe of Fall 2024 to talk about ALL THINGS BOSTON (and beyond!) Stop by to exchange tips about the best spots to visit in New England, try unique specialty foods from the region (we promise it’s not just Dunkin Donuts!), learn and share local terms and slang, and ask any questions you have about life in Boston. All are welcome, whether you’re new to Boston or already know the ropes. Please RSVP here if you are planning on attending.

Language Cafes are monthly get-togethers to learn about different cultures and languages, connect Emerson’s international community, and enjoy tasty snacks. Our Fall Semester dates are Wednesday Sept 18, Wednesday October 9, Wednesday Nov 6, all from 11:30-12:30 in Walker 1020. All are welcome – we hope you will join us!
*If you are an international or multilingual Emersonian and would like to share your language, culture, or another topic at a Language Cafe, we invite you to be a Culture Host this semester. We will help you organize the event and provide snacks, while YOU get the mic to share! If interested please contact amy_rinaldo@emerson.edu.
