To help accommodate as many people as possible in our testing protocol this month, Tufts Medical Center will be open for PCR testing for Emerson community members each Saturday for the month of January ONLY.
Over the last several weeks, the College has remained in close consultation with public health and local officials, and we remain confident that we can begin classes in-person as planned and maintain the health and safety of our community members.
Due to heating issues at the Emerson/TMC test center, it will CLOSE and testing will STOP at 2:00 pm January 11.
As you know, the Omicron variant of COVID-19 has required us to maintain our vigilance to ensure the health and safety of our community as we continue operations on the Boston campus.
Due to the snow storm, the TMC/Emerson Test Center (116 Harrison Ave.) will have a delayed opening at 10:00 am (instead of 8:00 am).
It is with a heavy heart that I share the sad news that Pamela White, Emerson’s former Associate Vice President and Title IX & Clery Act Coordinator in the Social Justice Center, passed away on December 29, 2021.
This update and adjustment is in response to the difficulty some are having securing PCR tests at this time.
The College is requiring the COVID-19 booster to help keep our community safe, healthy, and learning in person.
The images will be projected onto the building’s facade nightly between 6:00 pm and 2:00 am.
