McCoy was invited to deliver the keynote speech for this year’s Social Justice Academy, an initiative of Intercultural Student Affairs and the Center for Spiritual Life, with a theme this year of intersectionality in social justice.
Next week, the Social Justice Academy, in collaboration with Intercultural Student Affairs and the Center for Spiritual Life, will host Yavilah McCoy for a 2-day visit centered on the theme of “Deepening Equity and Justice Across Intersections of Racism & Antisemitism.”
We wanted to reach out to let our community know about some invitations for those observing Ramadan, as well as some reminders and information about Ramadan for our wider campus community.
This space, which is being led and planned by our Hillel student leaders, our Hillel Advisor, Jake Freedman, and myself, intends to be a place to be nourished and supported in community.
