First Business of Creative Enterprises Graduating Class Leaves Mark with Real Clients

Julia Perry ‘20 and her Business of Creative Enterprises (BCE) cohort made Emerson College history this spring when they became the first-ever graduating class in its BCE undergrad program. Beyond the College, the small cohort of 30-plus students left a lasting impression with real-world clients after they provided six local partners with applicable creative business services.

The International Public Relations course in the Communication Studies department focuses on global and international media relations, social media, branding, media management, crisis communication, and policy. Students of the class then apply those concepts at GlobComm, coordinating across geographic, cultural, language, religious, technological, and national differences — just as they would in a professional setting.
