As the College continues to prepare for the return of students and the start of the 2021 Spring Term on the Boston campus, we have been closely monitoring new information from government officials while COVID conditions continue to evolve.
We wanted to remind you — and answer some questions — about the new Travel Registration Policy for the Boston campus this term.
In preparation for our shift to twice-weekly student COVID-19 testing this semester, each student studying in-person on the Boston campus will need to select into a “testing cohort.”
To comply with recent guidance issued by state and local officials, we have made the following changes to Emerson’s 2021 Spring Term reopening schedule for the Boston campus:
As the Emerson community mobilized over the summer to make sure students could safely return to classes in the fall, Jason Meier, director of student engagement and leadership (SEAL), needed to figure out how they could participate in the roughly 100 student organizations in this new COVID-inflected campus.
As an unprecedented Fall semester comes to a close, I want to thank all of you for your participation in ensuring the College remains healthy and financially stable.
Emerson’s staff union, SEIU Post 888, sent students a video to students on Wednesday, November 25, giving thanks for their care and sacrifice in keeping the COVID-19 caseload at bay during the fall semester.
Please do not arrive earlier than 8:00 am — this is to prevent queues forming outside the Emerson/TUSM test center.
