Reminder: Beyond Racial Equity is holding a Student Visioning Session open to all students tomorrow at 7pm.
“Internationalization and equity, international students, and education abroad are at the very core of what’s important to us [as an institution],” Vice Provost for Internationalization and Equity Anthony Pinder said.
BRE has extended the strategic review timeline through April 2022, with specific attention on students through focus groups and a visioning session.

In addition to the below updates, we are also in the process of revising the Action Plan website to infuse an intersectional approach to the work of Community Equity.
The Dean’s Fellowship Program was created to help support the personal and professional development of undergraduate students working toward a more equitable and just Emerson.
We want to reaffirm our commitment to make meaningful change in the daily experiences of BIPOC students, students with disabilities, first generation college students, and students with other marginalized identities.
Beyond Racial Equity is supported by a team of consultants with specific expertise in areas of anti-racism, anti-oppression, and equity in higher education.
