Yass Yoga

Join us for a virtual yoga class that incorporates flow, pranayama, and restorative practices. This class will feature gentle asana postures to warm up the body, leading to sun A’s. We will work our way to a comfortable seat, regulate the breath, and end the practice with restorative postures. You will need a yoga mat, two blocks, blanket, and pillows. If you do not have yoga blocks you can use a stack of books.
FAQ:What is flow? Flow is any asana practice that goes from one posture immediately into the next, following the breath. Constant movement synchronized with the breath, encourages students to release stress or worry and be present in the moment.What is pranayama? Pranayama is the practice of regulating the breath. “Daily pranayama trains the lungs and improves the capacity of the respiratory system immensely. Pranayama directly works on the nervous system. Restorative yoga is the practice of slowing down and stretching the body by holding postures for an extended period of time.
