Swap & Shop Lite

Emerson diverts 20 percent of its waste from the trash stream, when over 75 percent could be reused, recycled, donated, or composted. The Swap & Shop redirects waste produced from move-out by collecting and redistributing clothing and non-perishable food. Community members may drop-off clothing, including shoes, and non-perishable food to the designated collection locations. Moreover, community members may take free clothing during the pop-up shopping events.
Dropoff Locations (Dec. 13-18):
- Paramount: Lobby beside battery recycling container
- Little Building: Next to first floor security desk
- Colonial Building: Main lobby
- Piano Row: Across from the ID Office
- 2 Boylston Place: Main lobby
