A multimedia exhibition from Film and Media Art MFA candidate Mehvish Ali about indigo – an indigenous product of Bengal – its colonial past and its use in contemporary times by artisans. Themes include the reclaiming of heritage and the revival of indigo dye production through its use in sustainable slow fashion.
The exhibit runs Friday, September 16-Monday, September 26. Hours are Monday-Friday, 3:00-7:00 pm; Saturday, 12:00-7:00 pm; Sunday, 2:00-5:00 pm.
